100% Arabica Coffee from Cameroon's Boyo region.

Cameroon Boyo™ coffee is organically shade grown on traditional family farms in nutrient‐rich, dark, volcanic soil, at an average altitude of over 5,000 feet by over 200 local farms. Our beans have a creamy body and boast tones of caramel sweetness and bittersweet chocolate. Coffee quality is managed right through the entire process from seedling to the cup. We buy directly from the framer, collaborating with traditional family farms in the nutrient-rich, dark volcanic soil of West Africa.

The ACT Model

At Firehouse Coffee, we are dedicated to an ethical, fair, and transparent trade model to source our 100% premium arabica beans directly from coffee farmers in Cameroon, Africa. Called the ACT Model (Accountability, Collaboration, Transparency), this process allows us to establish direct relationships with growers and cooperatives, cutting out middlemen for a more equitable system.

By working directly with farmers, we can ensure they receive fair prices for their crops, supporting sustainable livelihoods in their communities. Our team regularly visits Cameroon to meet with farmers face-to-face, collaborating to understand challenges and how to produce the highest quality beans through measures like proper pruning, planting, and processing. The farmers have a direct line of communication with our roastery to provide feedback and ideas.

Throughout the process, from crop to cup, we prioritize transparency. The ACT Model provides traceability, so we know exactly where our beans originate and can validate the growing and production methods. Consumers can access this information through our website and packaging. We're proud to offer such high quality, ethically sourced Cameroonian beans, allowing coffee lovers to enjoy the distinct floral, fruity notes of these arabica beans while supporting rural farming communities in Africa. By investing in farmers, we're cultivating a better future for coffee.

Honoring First Responders

For firefighters, coffee is so much more than just a drink to help wake up in the morning. It's a crucial part of their daily routine, providing a much-needed energy boost, keeping them alert and focused when put their lives on the line.

Firefighters will frequently start their day by brewing a fresh pot of coffee and sitting down together to catch up before the chaos of the day begins. For many stations, this morning coffee time creates a sense of community and camaraderie. It's a small daily ritual that bonds the crew. During stressful emergency responses, firefighters rely heavily on each other, and that bond is strengthened over cups of coffee.
